We’re hiring…
We are looking for an Executive & Creative Assistant to join us between now and Christmas, working two days a week in Dublin (€20/hr, 200 hours total).
The Executive & Creative Assistant will work across multiple film projects rooted in art and activism, artistic mediation and Theatre of the Oppressed by facilitating vast groups to create work together; from a documentary made by the people of Moyross, to work with people affected by prison, a new film project with people with Parkinson’s, solidarity with Palestine and film projects centering on bipolar disorder and mental health in offshore islands. Some projects are in early development, some are shooting and some are wrapping.
The Executive & Creative Assistant will also have a significant role in the development of Shift Change Agency (shiftchangeagency.com) working with clients from political and civil society campaigns as well as communities, NGOs and activist groups. Shift Change Agency is a project of Art by Grace Dyas.
This role is ideal for candidates who are working-class, Travellers, Black or minority ethnic, or persons with disabilities and we encourage applications from those for whom that is their lived experience. Much of the work involves communication and facilitation with people from these communities, so it is preferred that the person in this role brings lived experience, as well as experience or a strong interest in film, and a track record of making cultural or community work happen. We are aware that there may be candidates who don't fit into the above descriptions but could surpass our expectations and we especially encourage those applicants.
Please send an email and note about your experience and the work you have done to date to grace@shiftchangeagency.com by Tuesday 7th October 2025 7:30pm
Feel free to attach a CV or any other examples of work.
